Three steps. One compliant report.

Built around the way you already work in the field. No new workflows to learn.

01 — INPUT

Enter tree data

Species, DBH, condition, and site address. The same data you collect in the field — entered once.

02 — MATCH

Ordinances auto-matched

TreeCertify identifies the exact code sections that apply — Palo Alto, Menlo Park, Atherton, and more.

03 — CERTIFY

Review and submit

Every word is yours to review before it leaves. TreeCertify assists — you certify.

2 hours becomes 10 minutes.

Here's what writing a tree removal permit report actually takes — and what it takes now.

Before TreeCertify
~2 hrs per report
Track down the city's ordinance page
Find the right chapter of the municipal code, if you even know which site to start on
15–20 min
Read through and identify what applies
Heritage flags, DBH thresholds, removal justification — every city words it differently
15–20 min
Find a template or dig through old reports
Copy a prior report, gut the content, reformat to match this city's requirements
10–15 min
Write the report from scratch
Weave in the right citations, structure the justification, get every required field
30–45 min
Proofread and cross-reference — and hope
One wrong citation, one missed requirement — rejected submission, back to square one
15–20 min
Total time per report
~2 hrs
With TreeCertify
~10 min per report
Enter tree data once
Species, DBH, condition, address — the same info you already have from your site visit
2 min

Report drafted to spec

"I was spending 45 minutes per permit report cross-referencing the municipal code. Now it's 8 minutes, and I'm more confident the report is correct."

ISA CERTIFIED ARBORIST · PALO ALTO

"The ordinance matching is exactly right. It found the heritage-designation requirement I always forget to include. That alone is worth it."

ISA CERTIFIED ARBORIST · MENLO PARK

"I still review every word before it goes out — that's non-negotiable. But the first draft is already 90% there. Game changer."

Your certification. Your judgment. Your report.

TreeCertify generates a compliant first draft — you review and approve every word before it's submitted. The AI identifies ordinances and structures the report. You apply your professional expertise, verify the findings, and certify the document. Your ISA credential is never on the line without your explicit review. TreeCertify assists — it does not replace — your professional judgment.

Your reports are yours. Full stop.

We built this for professionals whose reputation depends on the accuracy and confidentiality of their work. Here's exactly how we handle your data.

Reports never leave your account

Your generated reports are stored in your account only. We do not access, share, sell, or transmit them to any third party — ever.

Not used to train AI models

Your report data, tree data, and client information are never used to train or improve any AI model — ours or anyone else's.

Ordinance data is verified

Municipal ordinances are sourced directly from official city codes and reviewed manually before being added to the system. We flag outdated code and update promptly.

Cancel anytime, keep your data

No lock-in. If you cancel, you can export all your reports in PDF format. We don't hold your work hostage.

Audit trail on every report

Every report includes a timestamped record of what was AI-generated vs. what you edited. Full transparency for your records.

You are always the author

Reports are certified by you, under your ISA credential. TreeCertify's name never appears on a submitted report — it's your professional document.

Questions arborists actually ask.

We built this with ISA-certified arborists from the start. These are the questions they asked first.

No — and we designed it specifically to prevent that. You review and approve every word before anything is submitted. TreeCertify drafts the report structure and identifies the applicable ordinances. You apply your field expertise, verify the findings, and certify the document under your ISA credential. The AI is a first-draft assistant, not a replacement for your professional judgment.

Our ordinance database is sourced directly from official municipal codes and reviewed manually — not scraped or AI-generated. That said, you are always the final check. Every ordinance citation includes a direct link to the source code so you can verify it in one click. If you catch an error, you can flag it and we correct the database within 24 hours.

We're starting with 21 municipalities across the Peninsula, North Bay, and Tahoe/Nevada and expanding based on beta arborist demand. Tell us which cities you work in most and we'll prioritize them in the next release. During beta, every city request gets a direct response — this isn't an auto-reply form.

You do. Completely. Reports are your professional documents, certified under your ISA credential. TreeCertify's name never appears on a submitted report. We have no claim on your work product and never will. If you cancel, you export everything and it's yours.

Yes. Your report data, client information, and tree data are stored in your account only. We do not share, sell, or transmit your data to any third party. We also don't use your data to train any AI model. See our full privacy section above for specifics.

Beta is free for the first 3 months. After that, founding beta arborists get a permanent 30% discount on any paid plan — our thank-you for helping shape the product. We'll give you at least 30 days notice before any pricing changes.

The initial beta focuses on tree removal permit reports — that's where arborists spend the most time per report. Tree risk assessments, construction impact reports, and pruning specifications are next on the roadmap, with timing driven by beta feedback.
